Why is the Old Fort area the only area listed as a geo technical hazard area when the taylor hill, bearflats, montney Cooley and beaton hills have all had more frequent slides and they still have homes near or on them?

The Old Fort area is currently still being evaluated by the Ministry of Transportation with regards to geotechnical hazards so that is why it is being placed under this designation for the time being. Once studies are completed the PRRD will be reevaluating this area and this land use designation may be changed or modified based on those further studies.
