Where is Spencer Tuck Regional Park?

Spencer Tuck Regional Park is a 5.18-hectare property owned by the Peace River Regional District (PRRD), situated on the north side of Moberly Lake, about 32 km north of Chetwynd. Moberly Lake spans about 14 km and has a shoreline of roughly 41 km.

What are the goals of the project?

The PRRD is creating a design study to improve Spencer Tuck Regional Park. This will examine challenges such as traffic flow, parking, washrooms and boat launch access. It will also evaluate whether the boat launch needs repairs or replacement. After completing the study, a plan will be developed to address the current and future needs of park visitors and other interest groups.

Whose input will be considered and how can I provide input?

We're seeking feedback from the public, community groups and park neighbours to make sure our design study and proposed improvements meet everyone's needs.

Here's how you can participate:

• Take our online survey

• Come to our in-person open house on November 19 at Moberly Lake Elementary from 1pm to 3pm

• Join one of our two virtual open house events on November 19 and 23 (more information under Key Dates)

We'll also be talking to park interest groups to gather their thoughts.
