Ken has worked with energy companies in the private sector and local government projects on municipal operation and management, regional emergency management and fire management plans and training.

Ken was also a firefighter, which gave him valuable insight into fire protection. He has expertise in community risk assessment, rightsholder engagement and municipal governance structures and operations, especially regarding sustainability and service delivery models.
