The Regional Board adopted the Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw No. 2474, 2022 on June 9, 2022 after third reading and receiving Ministry of Transportation Approval on May 30, 2022. it was granted.
The Peace River Regional District has adopted Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw No. 2474, 2022. The goal of this bylaw is to provide a legal framework that allows the PRRD to effectively regulate and manage infrastructure and the development process.
This bylaw is needed to establish engineering standards consistent with best practices for development applications within the PRRD. It defines clear levels of service as they relate to developers and technical professionals.

Committee Review
Subdivision & Development Servicing Bylaw is currently at this stageOn June 17 2021, the Electoral Area Directors Committee passed a Resolution to defer the reading of the second draft of the Bylaw to a future Electoral Area Directors Committee meeting until a written conformation has been received from the Ministry Of Transportation and Infrastructure. Staff are currently working to receive this written conformation and a return to a future meeting is to be determined.
