Service Overview

The Health Related Services Grants in Aid Service may include:

1. Grants in aid to not-for-profit societies qualified to operate air ambulance services;
   
   
2. Grants in aid to not-for-profit societies offering search and rescue services;
   
   
3. Grants in aid to not-for-profit societies offering accommodation or health related services for patients and family members receiving health care services;
   
   
4. Grants in aid to not-for-profit societies with mandates to recruit and retain health care professionals to work and remain working in the Peace River region;
   
   
5. Scholarships awarded to students pursuing post-secondary training and certification, in the form of a diploma or degree, in a health care or medical field, in an effort to enhance recruitment and retention of medical staff and professionals in Peace River Region Hospitals and accredited medical facilities operated by Northern Health in the Peace River Region.
