Key Dates

Take the online survey on this project page or visit the PRRD offices In Dawson Creek (1981 Alaska Avenue) or Fort St. John (9505 100 Street) to pick up a hard copy. 

The survey is open from April 11, 2025, to May 2, 2025. You can also request a hard copy of the survey to be mailed to you with prepaid postage included for the return by emailing communications@prrd.bc.ca.

We're holding an in-person meeting on April 30, 2025, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Clearview Arena (13772 223 Road, Goodlow), to discuss: 

• Whether the Golata Creek community supports a new space
• How people would use a new space
• What type of space is preferred (like a hall, outdoor recreation area, or open land for recreation)
• If community members would support paying taxes to fund the ongoing operation of the facility

Survey extended from May 2 to May 9, 2025

A staff report will be presented to the Regional Board on May 22, 2025, to help guide the next steps for the project. A summary of the public engagement results will be posted on the project page afterward.
